Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing will be held by the Town of Schaghticoke

Planning Board on July 1, 2026 at 7:00 p.m. at the Town Hall, 290 Northline Drive,

Melrose, New York to hear all persons interested regarding the application of PVT 1456,

LLC (Dollar General) for a 3-lot subdivision of land out of a parcel of 8.17± acres located

at the southeast corner of Route 40 and East Schaghticoke Road (Tax Map Parcel 32.-3-

47) for the construction of a 10,600 +/- S.F. Dollar General Store on the middle lot, which

is subject to issuance of a special use permit and site plan review. The property is located

in the Highway Commercial (HC) Zoning District. Please be advised that written

comment will also be accepted by mailed submission to the attention of the Town Clerk or

via email to townclerk@townofschaghticoke.org. Further, the Planning Board will accept

written comment for 14 days after the July 1 hearing date.
